The Lost Quilter by Jennifer Chiaverini (2009, Hardcover)

Great book. Very informative; both historically and about quilting. I really enjoyed it and it reads fast and easy.

I purchased this book for a gift. The only thing that I would change is the hard plastic cover on the book. It was taped to the book with such heavy tape that to remove it could very possibly damage the book cover. To leave the cover would be okay except for some unsightly stickers that were glued tightly to the cover. When giving as a gift you would really like the book to look better. My friend was delighted though and never mentioned these issues. Delivery was prompt and all other aspects of the book were in excellent condition.

I have read almost all of the Jennifer Chiaverini books. I couldn't wait to read "The Lost Quilter" because it answers some questions from one of her previous books, "The Runaway Quilt". All of the Elm Creek Quilt books are great reads, but I especially love the ones that go back in the history of Bergstrom Farms and their visitors. Whether you are a quilter or not, you will enjoy this book

Yes, that's more like it. Now the author is back in the swing of it ... and the story continues. Nicely told. Vividly detailed, so it seems you're a part of the story.
