I'm a LOST addict. I'll admit it. But it was purely an accident.
I'd heard about the excellence in the show's writing ... all the hype ... blah ... blah ... but you know what? When I tuned in, I was unimpressed.
At the time, there were all these weird "Jurassic Park" shrills coming from the jungle and I thought, "Oh geez? It's Jurassic Park in the middle of nowhere?! Forget it ... I saw the movie."
Then I got to watching it later and I was wrong. In fact, I was wrong about every episode after that too? I've NEVER been able to second guess this show and every Wednesday night, I'm disappointed because LOST isn't a mini-series???
The cast of characters is outstanding and it's true ... the writing IS excellent!
If you want to know why viewers rave with praise for this show, then it's well worth your time and money to buy LOST - THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON. Once you get caught up on what's been taking place ... you'll be less confused but just as mystified as the rest of us.
