Lost Boys - The Tribe (DVD, 2008)

Boy am I glad we ate before we watched this! This film of course fell into the old trap of trying to garner the audience of 13 to 21 age groups..instead of keeping it on the same level as the first film..Film begins with newly orphaned teenagers moving to Vampire Central..where they meet up with Edgar Frog of course that's after the Sister is already infected..The leader played by Angus Sutherland, is the star of the first Lost Boys movie half Brother of course I'm talking about Kiefer Sutherland..is dangerous and considered by straight females as sexy..of course Sis is attracted to him..just goes to show what can happen when a young Girl goes off with someone she doesn't know (it may just be me, but I think the Sister look like a cross between Alyssa Milano and Miley Cyrus) I hated the fact this film relied so heavily on the gore factor and yes it is extremely gory..it's my firm belief when filmakers do this it's because they feel the movie has no real substance so they give the audience what they think they want (gore) to try to hide that fact..But this film has a great storyline, great script, great acting, I love the ending and by all means don't skip the credits or you'll miss the rest of the ending..the excessive gore was not needed..It's not a good idea to let any kids under the age of 18 watch this..

If you loved the lost boys, you will love this movie. Truly excellent vampire movie, with gory effects, a little romance and of course some humor provided be everyone's favorite vampire slayer Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman). It also has a surprise twist at the end, be sure to watch the credits or you will miss it. A must see for Lost Boy Fans!!!!

This was just such a bad movie. They could have done so much more with it. I grew up with the lost boys and there special effects were better then in the 1st movie. Its sad when I say Corey Feldman saved that movie and gave it some respect. (Please don't think I'm knocking him,,he was an awesome actor in the late 80's early 90's). I know I bought this and my review is not so great, but my whole thing is if they make a sequel no matter how bad it is and you are a true horror movie collector, then you need to get it.(I mean I own all the Friday the 13th's yes even the space one).

Oh my goodness can not believe anyone liked this movie lol. The first one was great, good actors, good story line. This one should be renamed to crazy teen vampires. The profanity was too much if you would like to watch bad acting, bad language and that is all your looking for then have at it. I suffered through the whole thing waiting for it to have at least get better before the end but when it was over I was relieved. There are not a ton of great horror movies made including vampires which is unfortunate as I am a buff of both. Oh and really boring it is. Good luck if you brave it, but if I had purchased it I would have cried at the loss of money in fact I felt as if I had wasted the 2 dollars to rent it.

The 1st Lost Boys is a classic so I guess I was excepting more with The Tribe. Yes it had the gore and the vampires but the movie went by fast with nothing new to it. The best part of the movie was the very end when the Cory's face off at the credits. Other than that I don't think it was as great as it was talked up to be, But that's just me. A True Horror Fan.

I really do not like this movie. It is nothing like the original. I really think they mess movies up when they do sequals.

This movie was not made soon enough. I waited over 20 years to see the next part. After understanding who the mother & father of Chris & Nicole was I liked the movie even more. The fact that the movie takes place in the same town & the little sayings & remarks to remind us of what happened in the first was very smart of the producers. I did hope to see both Coreys more throughout the movie. Unfortunately due to personal issues with Corey Haim he only makes a walk on appearance at the end, which makes it all the more important Warner Bros. not wait another 21 years to make the 3rd. I enjoyed the first as do my kids. This one is for the more mature viewers, much more adult content. I really liked this movie and will wait patiently for the 3rd. I give it excellent but I will give it 4**** stars due to not showing the Coreys more than they did.

Not bad-all in all an enjoyable vampire movie. I knew when I saw Tom Savini at the beginning of the movie that there would be a generous helping of blood and intestinal footage (gotta love Savini). Characters were all pretty good--hated the head vampires' three frat boy-followers-video camera welding-broheims-but I guess that's the point (in the movies and real life you'd wish they'd get what's coming to them). Kind of hoping for a surprise ending where there was another head vampire-a less likely candidate-like in the first one, but no such luck. Still all in all a decent sequel-Cory Feldman didn't look much different 20 years later and that was amazing in itself. Also that a Sutherland (Keifer's son I take it) was also in it. I liked a lot of the action scenes also. The '80's had a lot of good movies-horror movies included-I'll take a sequel from those over most of the garbage that's made today.

I bought Lost Boys The Tribe, because it is a sequeal to the classic first.LB.
I loved the shipping fee's and the starting bid price was something to be surprised joyfully with. To be able to find it on ebay truly was an amazing catch. I bought it knowing that Halloween is near, wanted it for future Halloween and up at night late with Hot Chocolate, popcorn,and thick blankets.
No scratches, cover in perfect standing, never opened package. Good Times

not as good witten as first--story not as capticating as the original was -but was good to watch after watching the first movie with friends...

dislike it happened fast to pay but haven't gotten it yet and its been several days just wondering what is taking so much time not for it to be here yet

I liked the original Lost Boys so I decided to purchase the second one since the price is the same to rent it. It wasn't as good as the first, but had it's moments. The suspense and gore is elevated in The Tribe. Of course Corey Feldman plays in it and looks the same, or more like Charlie Sheen...LOL. I really like the girl in the lead role. She was super cute and was worth watching just for her. If you can pick it up for a few bucks it's worth it.

It has been quite a few years since the original " Lost Boys " came out. I am a big fan of vampire movies. There was alot of HYPE with this movie, and I decided to wait until it came out on DVD. The storyline was the typical partying guys, then they turn into vampires, with a hot girl they are trying to transform into one of them. Very similar to the original. I liked how Cory Feldman was in the movie, ( Corey Haim was as well, but they took out his scenes. I think he was under the influence...) I like how Keefer Sutherlands younger brother was in this movie, but personally I was not impressed with his acting at all. That was pretty much the only downer I had about this movie. Otherwise a very good movie...

A FIVE Tad Hilgenbrinck did a good job. A little too much language at the beginning. Watch the 20 year old Lost Boys first.

Loved the movie. Loved the first one to. Love vampire movies. I own several of them. I also bought the first movie, LOST BOYS. I thought it was really cool that they used some of the same actors and that Kiefer Sutherland was the main vampire in Lost Boys and his son Angus Sutherland played the main vampire in Lost Boys The Tribe. This is a must see movie.

i rented it and watch it and it was a excellent movie i think.the 1st lost boys was good but this one was excellent. if you want a good horror movie with a little bit of funny mix than this is the movie for you..

Movie is good, and it is very different than the first one. I will say this one is NOT recommended for children to watch though. A little too much gory stuff in this one, but any fan of the first movie this is a one to add to any collection.

this is a great vampire movie for anyone who loves vampires and is a great sequal to the lost boys a must see for vampire lovers.......

This movie is one of the best. It goes above and beyond. If you like vampire movies this is a must have. I really like this movie. I hope you enjoy this movie as i have and do

The sequel to the 1987 cult hit The Lost Boys takes us back to the city of Luna Bay, California.
Having just lost their parents in a car accident, the siblings-Chris Emerson and his sister, Nicole move in with their crazy Aunt Jillian and become new prey for the new vampires, lead by Shane Powers(Angus Sutherland-Kiefer's brother). Chris must locate and destroy the gangs lifeline before his sister becomes a vampire. Chris finds himself relying on the expertise of Edgar Frog (Feldman). For real fans of the original Lost Boys wait for the full credits at the end. Where this movie ends should have actually been the new movie. Angus Sutherland is definitely not up to Kiefer's acting capability. Funny to watch but it's a shame they could not make a proper sequel with the real stars, including Kiefer, Vampires can always be bought back to life. I'd watch this on tv it's not worth the money I paid.

This may be a molvie that was made 0yrs after then original, but just like the first part it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Once again this movie is easy to follow and has excellant quality. I was a little upset that the only one that came back was Frog, but that is ok. It was a well put together movie.
