I love this movie...it be be over the top, the acting may not be particularly good, it may be a cheesy take on classic vampire movies....but it is one of those films that is so bad - its good, or make that great!
I love it when it came out...I love it now, I can watch it again and again, and even appreciate the soundtrack!
This mid eighties movie starred some of the hottest names at that time - the two Corey's - Haim and Feldman, Jason Patric who became an instant 'heartthrob' , Kiefer Sutherland and Dianne Weist who plays the mom to a tee!!
It is set in Santa Cruz which becomes a fictional California Beach town - Santa Carla - with some strange goings on - people disappearing, vampire talk - and newcomer Corey Haim wants to get to the bottom on it, while his brother player by Patric finds himself wrapped up in a little too much in the Vampire world!!
Enter the Frog Brothers who,under the guise of running a local comic shop - set out to hunt down and eradiate the Vampires...and with the help of Haim, the fun begins....until the rather crazy and gory ending, the icing on top of the cake provided by Grandpa - played by Barnard Hughes - who we assume, was oblivious to all that was going on in the town until now!
This is a fun movie,an 80s Classic and a great addition to any movie collection!

I loved this movie as a kid and was wanting it badly for our dvd collection. I got an excellent price on Ebay and it was brand new, even wrapped still. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would definitly buy my dvds here again!

not your standard comming of age movie set in a beachfront community. an allstar cast of players ( some of them hundreds of years old, but you can't tell)living the cool life as young care free vampires. yes,looking good, dressing great for all eternity. the undead has it's high points. i watched this movie as a kid and kept my imagination up at night only to sleep all day.
the two disc set is the only way to go with all the deleted scenes and behind the camera storys the lost boys fan would love. a must have for the forever young blood.

into town with his mom and his brother, Sam. Soon, Michael starts
to hang out with a group of guys who are really vampires. This is
one of my favorite horror films and it's one of the 80's best films.
I really love the vampire make-up job that Greg Cannom did on this,
it's fantastic. This is another great dvd that is a must have because
it has great picture, great sound and plenty of extras to sink your
teeth into. If you're a horror fan, I definitely recommend this.

This is a vampire classic!The first of many and one of my personal favorites. This movie is a classic, and showcases early acting careers of a few of today's stars, such as Keefer Sutherland. This was a must have for my collection, I love it!!

the lost boysI love this movie. I remember it first being in the theatres it scared me so bad, but the Corey's, Jason, and Keiffer were so HOT I had to keep going to see it. My daughter loves the movie as well and watches it everytime it's on, so I thought i'd get her (both of us:)) a copy. I highly recommend a viewing.

The Lost Boys 2-Disk DVDThe 2-disk version follows up with the director and actors 17 years after the release. It was great to hear the interviews and the background of the making of the movie. I loved it!

The all time best vampire movie ever. It was funny, scary, and had a lot of action. Loved it as a kid, love it now. When I find someone who hasn't seen it, I sit them down and make them watch it. They like it everytime. I had an autographed copy by Keifer Sutherland but a dirty burgler stole it. Had to replace the movie.

I have seen this movie a thousand times. What's not to love about Lost Boys ? If you're into vamp movies this one will not disappoint. The Two Coreys, Jason Patric, A young Kiefer Sutherland.... Tons of great scenes, great music and last but not least a ton of one liners you can use and enjoy for years to come... maybe even forever... (get it ? vamps ? live forever ?)

I thought this was a great movie, but could have used a little more vampire action. Edger Frog was a little more intense in the first movie, which was great, but still a believable vampire hunter in The Tribe :) Lots of semi-nudity( females) for the men and plenty of good looking vampire guys for us women. i did like some of the documentary and other features too.

The Lost Boys (2 disc special edition)This was my all time favorite movie throughout my teen years. When I discovered the sequel was coming out this summer it got me to wondering about the movie again. I was searching on ebay for t-shirts when I came across the movie. Once I realized all the extras on the two disc set I absolutely had to have it. The bonus disc has deleted scenes, photos, and so much more. I couldn't resist. The first thing I did when it arrived was what the bonus features that I had never seen. It was great to see more of my favorite movie.
