Lost in America (DVD, 2001)

Oh my... this movie is great! I laughed so hard. Albert Brooks is so good at being the funny straight man. This is a story of a man who leaves his job and decides to set out across America with his wife in their RV using bits of their nestegg. It gets very interesting when they go to a casino and his wife, Hagerty, learns she likes to gamble and her favorite number is 22. This had a great script! And honestly, I cannot think of two better people to be matched in this movie.

Recieved dvd in great shape. Shipped in a bubble wrap envelope. I also recieved it in a very timely manor. It came in less that a week. Very pleased.

i saw this movie a few years ago and loved it. when i saw it on e bay i had to buy it. perfect just like i remember.

I love this movie. It's really moving and I could watch it over and over again. I never get sick of it.

I'm a long-time Albert Brooks fan and I first saw this movie well over 10 years ago and laughed my fanny off. Brooks always plays these flawed characters who make rash, spontaneous decisions that make for stories in themselves. In "Lost", he gets miffed at his boss, setting in motion a series of events that lead to a nutty journey of rediculuous situations. But the real humor is in Brooks' character, himself, with all his neuroses.

A classic! It may be 23+ years old, but still timely and still makes me laugh! Albert Brooks, Julie Hagerty....both are comedy stand outs. If you enjoyed Broadcast News, you'll love this!

Albert Brooks is Fantastic in this movie and Julie Haggerty is Perfect! It amazes me that we don't see more of both of them. They don't make comedies like this any more. This is a must see movie and a must have for your collection.

It was ok. Funny in a few spots. I was told by a friend to get this movie. It is a good addition to our collection. I was hoping it would be funnier.
