I enjoyed this book on cd very much. Valerie did not sugar coat anything. She got right to the point and told about her life without holding back.

Just finshed listening to this on Audio. Read by Valerie Bertinelli.
I new that living with a Rock N Roll God, would have to be CRAZY, but having
lived with a alcoholic myself, her life wasn't always wonderful. She really gives the reader a look at her life on the inside, and is I feel very honest about herself and her relationships. Good for you Valerie and how far you've come through all of it. We all know how hard losing weight is, and being happy with ones self. Great story.

I AM LOVING THIS! Been a Valerie Bertinelli fan since One Day at a Time. This is my first audio book and I couldn't have chosen a better one. It is terrific to listen to Valerie's own voice reading this book. I didn't know if I would be able to drive and concentrate on the book at the same time but it is no problem. I am so happy to hear about her life. She has experienced some of the same things I have so it makes her seem closer, almost like a real-life friend. I will buy more audio books in the future since I have enjoyed this one so much.

Title a bit misleading; mostly about Valeries marriage

I like the fact that when I listened to the Audio Book I felt like I was talking to a girlfriend. I like Valerie Bertinelli's honesty about her lifelong struggle with her weightloss.

I didn't like the fact that she used the "f" word frequently throughout the Audio Book. I expected the Audio Book to be "completely about her lifelong struggle with weightloss" and her "experience now as a Jenny Craig Weight Loss Spokesperson."

Sadly, it wasn't that way at all. The majority of the Audio Book was about her frequent ups and downs with relationships and her marriage to Eddie Van Halen. It would probably be good for a biography, but not what I expected for a book called, "Losing It - And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at A Time."

I decided to buy the Audio Book because I like Valerie Bertinelli in almost any show or movie I have watched her in.
