You can and should buy the original Stanley Burroughs book for the Master Cleanse. However, I love Peter Glickman's supplemental information in his own book. It was essentially a compilation of questions, answers, and opinions from a multitude of people who have tried the master cleanse and run into problems. If you have any question about the cleanse, you will most likely find the answer for it in this book. It is a bit redundant; he repeats himself several times. But it's all good knowledge and it's easy to read. You will probably have many questions on the master cleanse and you can either go to his website on the web each time you have a question and post it there. Or you can just open up his book and find the answer right on one of those pages, in all likelihood. For convenience alone, I'd recommend this book ALONG WITH Dr. Stanley Burroughs book which explains everything about the Master Cleanse Diet and it's purpose.

If you are curious or have any questions about doing the Master Cleanse, then you need to read this book. It has tons of information that will help you get yourself prepared both mentally and physically to do the cleanse. There is an extremely helpful FAQ section and many, many testimonials from people who have had much success with the cleanse. I've done the cleanse twice now, and after reading this book, I'm gearing up to do it for a third time. Great book, quick and easy read, very thorough.
