Well, just not the same w/o Pete Stewart, sorry.

Original TAIT album, INCREDIBLE. One of my top 10 Christian CD's easily. Several songs written by Pete Stewart and his guitar playing seal the deal on the self-titled first CD.
This one? It's simply missing Pete. The...spark, energy, flow just isn't here for me. Yes, the Petra boys on bass/drums still can pound some. Yes, Michael can still sing like an angel and stir your heart. But, it's the "soul" that doesn't get stirred w/o Pete Stewart's writing/influence on this one. 2-3 very good "radio" hits, rest is average here. I'd definitely check out some "freeviews" on Amazon or wherever to see if this one works for you.
I'd be the most joyous Christian in the world if Pete/Tait would hook up again; not only so that Pete would be back in the Christian music flow/world but because his lyrics, struggles, true walk with Christ as always the revealing/driving force of his music, and Tait's. If you're reading this Pete, I pray you reconsider your last few year's path and come back and let God's words flow through you again. Prayers & Blessings to You and All.
P.S. Obviously, I would also recommend Pete Stewarts only solo release, self-titled. It's the reason I could latch on to Christian rock at all, and I could never go back to secular in this new day-and-age.
