How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (DVD, 2003, Widescreen)

It's the same ol' tale, just with a twist. Instead of trying to keep the guy, the female lead (Kate Hudson) must LOSE the guy. Alternatively, the male lead's character must WIN the girl. Their time frame? 10 days. With such limited time, one can guess that there will be barrels of laughs and few tear jerking moments. Aren't there always?

A nice chick flick for date night. Guys, if you want to impress the girls and think you can stand it, rent it...you'll win her over in 10 minutes!

This movie is great for a girls night home watching tv. Perfect chick flick. Im sure you'll find a good laugh in it somewhere.

The movie, 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days', contains excellent and convincing performances by a well-known cast. The plotline is introduced almost immediately, and the audience anticipates with excitement the turn of events to follow. The movie contains some clever one-liners, playful and intriguing banter, and some hilarious physical comedy sure to get a laugh out of the toughest moviewatcher. I do recommend this movie, 'How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days,' if you are looking for a good time and a lot of laughs. I did, however, find it to be somewhat predictable and formulaic. I pretty much knew exactly what would happen just by reading the back of the box! Older audiences may be bored with the plot, but teens and young people (mid 20s) will likely find it exciting and hilarious. It is a light, playful movie that can best be described as "fun," but it does have some serious moments. This movie would be perfect for a movie night with friends or a date night.

I seen this movie once and I new I had to have it. When they sing about each other one stage and the end is the best part. There is nothing that I dislike about this movie and I would tell everyone to see it, at least once.

This is definetly one chick flick. You have to appreciate it if you're a girl in the working world. Matthew McConaughey is a charming witty, HOT ad campaign creative. Kate Hudson is a typical, A-type chick magazine editor. She and Matthew fall in love in this whitty romantic comedy. I hate cheesy movies but this one really makes you laugh. You almost find yourself rooting for them. You want them to fall in love so bad you forget its just a movie. Perfect for a girls night at home with popcorn. And definetly a keeper if you collect these chick flicks. If you liked Sweet Home Alabama you'll love this.

Like most romantic comedies, you know how it will end. But getting there is half the fun. Kate Hudson is hilarious as she pulls out all the cliches in an effort to get Matthew McConaughey to dump her. She's clingy, she phones him constantly, she talks baby talk to him, she even gives his penis an embarrassing nickname. But nothing scares him away --- because not only is his job riding on a bet that he can make Hudson fall in love with him, he's starting to fall for her himself. We've seen this plot before (does ANYBODY in real life ever make a bet that they can get a date with a particular person? Because it sure seems to be the way EVERY couple in EVERY romantic comedy gets together!) Still, the acting in this one is above average; Matthew is really hot; and he and Kate make a very cute couple!

This is without a doubt my FAVORITE movie. Yes guys, it's a chick flick but if you can stand the first half an hour you will probably like it and you will gain browine points with your girl. Rent it and you will most likely buy a copy. It's definately a keeper!

I love kate Hudson, she is a gorgeous young actress, this could be the best movie for both the actors until now, I am not talking about the best pay movie for both of them, because later movies they shoot might had credit from this,Kate and Mathew had great on screen chemical, I and many people love them expected they were hooked up like Smith, and before so, Kate had a Baby with Then her husband, we were: Oh, OK , fine" Hopefully we were not wait for too long that chemicals are gone forever.

What can I say other than this is one of the few "chick flicks" that I enjoyed watching the first time and each time I watch it again. Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson have great on-screen chemistry and really seem like a perfect match and play off each other wonderfully. Just the right amount of comedy and romance, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is a keeper!

I received the movie in a timely manner and it was in great conditon as promised. We are building a small movie library for our boat and want a variety of fun movies to watch when out to sea.

While many have tagged this movie as a "Chick Flick", I can tell you honestly that there were several parts of this movie that had my husband rolling in the floor! While, yes, Matthew McConaughey is a total dreamboat in this movie with his adorable southern accent, it is also hysterically funny just watching the chemistry between him and his "target". The expressions on their faces tell so much about what they're thinking - this is definitely one movie you will want to see again and again!! Enjoy!

Both actor and actress are great in this role and play the perfect match, or should I say mismatch! They deserve each other and highly motivated to accomplish their task in this cute man/woman power struggle that's been going on since Genesis 3 in the Garden! Great fun chick flick that will entertain,
