These are not your average flimsy bookends. These are hand-painted "polystone" by the Weta Workshop--the same company that worked on the Film Trilogy. The details of Gandalf, Bilbo and the door to Bag End are great. Plus you get all three books in one volume with a unique dust jacket with artwork depicting "Rivendell" (Elrond's home)! Wonderful gift for the Lord of the Rings fan.

) The set was purchased for a Birthday present! He loved it, he has been wanting the bookends for several years! He has read the book years ago, He also owns the movie series of this line!
