The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (DVD, 2002, Full Frame Version; 2-DVD Set)

I first read the Lord of the Rings books in my early teens and it became one of my favorite trilogies. I was excited when I heard that a movie series was being made. In the translation from words on a page to characters on a screen, the story remained intact, epic and engaging.

The special effects were masterful and the cinematography breathtaking.

I will enjoy this movie again and again.

Wow - speechless. Takes a while to build up but then it manages to make Sean Bean look like a good actor! WOW

Great movie. Kinda long though. I wanted to see the first movie so i got this one. i plan on getting the others too. i recommend this movie to everyone. but besides that its really good!

I don't usually go for this type of movie, but my husband does, so what could I do? I had to go to the movies with him to watch. It was GREAT!I loved everything about this movie! It was well done! I have seen it so many times and recommend it to everyone! In fact, watch all 3 of The Lord of the Rings over the weekend. If you don't have them, rent them. They are AWESOME! You won't be disappointed. I think I might get them out and watch them again this weekend.

What a great flick. This movie started the whole Lord of The Rings trilogy. Its truly an epic adventure.

This is one of the best movies ever made. I recommend everyone see the trilogy! It will grab you & keep you watching.

I am completely in love with the books and the DVD's. You can really get in to the story and feel like you know the characters.

this movie is great, the fight scenes are amazing.i bought it just because i needed to own the trilogy because in the future it will be worth a million dollars.

I bought this DVD for my son as a Christmas Gift. It was brand new, as I wanted in buying a gift, and sealed. It was perfect.

This is by far one of the greatest trilogies ever. It is action packed and overall a great addition to anyone's collection.

filmed in new zealand, this is the 1st of 3 movies (fellowship of ring is 1st, two towers is 2nd and return of king is 3rd movie). All movies are excellent but my favorite one would be this 1st movie, absolutely brilliant!
