Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection - The Premiere Edition (DVD, 2003, 2-Disc Set)

This dvd took me back to saturday morning cartoons with my brothers! I have a brother who is 50 years old who still laughs his head off whenever he watches the old Looney Tunes cartoons! I bought this dvd because it was his birthday and he'd been looking everywhere, with no luck, (he has never owned a computer or had access to ebay!) for just such a dvd as this one! Although it was a very long dvd, he has watched it several times already and I only recently bought it for him! His girlfriend tells me that all who watch it with him can't help but laugh along with him! I'm glad I bought it for him and I'm happy that it makes him happy and I have no regrets! Thanks Ebay!

Grew up watching Bugs, Daffy & the rest of the gang. Was disappointed when network dropped program due to "violence". Wanted my children to see what real cartoons was all about not Power Rangers & Sponge Bob. Thanks for a great purchase and the experience of watching the Looney Toons all over again with my children.

Classic cartoons are the best. This one will keep you busy for a while. There are tons of episodes that everyone can sit & enjoy. Great for families, or if you just like the classics!

This is a great dvd to own. While its not the four disc collection, the price for this two disc collection makes it well worth the money. Theres a lot of Bugs(of course), but it seems almost every character makes at least 1 appearance. If you like Looney Tunes and are on budget, this dvd is for you!

This DVD has some of the best cartoons on it that I remember watching as a child. I wanted this DVD because they no longer show the program on television. I would wake up every morning and watch these funny cartoons. Now that I have this DVD I can save it for my children to watch and enjoy. This DVD is a must for any child who loves cartoons.

My son loves this dvd.. Great classics, such as bugs bunny, tasmania devil, tweety bird. Some of the ones I remember from when I was a kid that I haven't seen in ages. Thanks for the memories.

These are the classic Looney Tunes cartoons we all remember from the Saturday mornings in front of the TV (or Saturday afternoons at the movies for you really seasoned citizens.) Unfortunately, the producers of the DVD have for some reason zoomed in on the picture so that not only the ends, but also the top and bottom of the picture are missing. Probably not a real big deal in the long run, but annoying nonetheless. I haven't seen all the various DVDs in this set, so maybe this isn't a universal problem, but I don't understand why they did it at all.

I would still purchase this DVD even knowing about the problem, but with less enthusiasm. You might want to examine some of the other DVDs available.

All of my friends and I remember growing up on Looney Tunes. While they may have mostly been repeats from when our parents were kids, all of the stories connect with any generation. Not only are they enjoyable and inspiring as a child, but as you grow older you continue to pick up references from history events to people that you never caught before.

It's a shame that cartoons have, for the majority, gone downhill in the last decade and more and more of them are all around inappropriate to show to children -- and teens for that matter. Loony Toons never needed cursing, sex, or gore; it was all good just the way it was. My hope is that one day cartoons will return to the Loony Toons' way of imagination, inspiration, and clean humor.

Until then I'll just keep buying the old ones!

The " Looney Tunes Premier Edition " Has many of the 1st episodes of characters like Tweedy and Foghorn Leghorn along with many Bugs Bunny shorts including Marvin Martian with his "Eludium PU36 Space Modulator" ( I think, well... you know ...:)

A must have for fans especially if your TV provider Doesnt carry this on Saturday mornings any more :(

These ar especially interesting as they are All Un-Cut which means you can view the Full length feature as enjoyed by Movie-goers which means before they were shortened for TV ! Awesum :)

I grew up watching these cartoons and have missed being able to see them. This collection includes many great cartoons featuring most of their popular characters. I only wish that the DVD's included commentaries. Still, they are better now than when I remembered watching them on t.v. before.

It's hard to beat the classics! This DVD set is awesome. It is good to see that the PC'rs haven't ruined everything.

Excellent compilation of classic cartoons -- not like most of the stitled ones of today. Good investment of entertainment for ages 2 to 102!

Just what I wanted for my grandson. With all the horrible cartoons on TV today, it's refreshing to show Looney Tunes to my grandson. He enjoys them so much that we watch them every time he visits. Very glad this DVD has been made available. The characters are classic. The graphics are superior. The laughs never stop. Great DVD.

I wanted to introduce my 6yo son to Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes gang. So I looked around and came across this set, it is not the largest or most complete set of Looney Tunes cartoons, but,it is a great start for the price that you can find it at on eBay. The set also does a pretty good job of including just about all of the Looney Tunes characters in the 28 cartoons that are included in the 2 disk set.

Great movie. No one should miss it! We see a good one every so often. This is one of them. Really excellent and upbuilding stuff! Thank Mel!

It was a wonderful walk through my past in watching these cartoons! I enjoyed them thoroughly and would recommend them to anyone that liked the Bugs Bunny cartoons.

I love it, these cartoons bring me back to my childhood. I can,t wait to order the other series of these cartoons. It'll be something for my children also to enjoy for years to come.
