This is an inspiring story about one man's burning desire and determination to succeed.
You can see his vision and the feel the struggles he faced to see his dream come true.
Dave never gave up and dealt with many challenges... and in the end he realized his dream.
It is a must-read for any Longaberger lover.

The majority of the book was written by Dave Longaberger shortly before he died in 1999 and gives a deeply personal perspective on his life and the company that he founded. It gives much insite about how the Longaberger Company came into exsistance as a result of one man's vision and determination.
Dave had many obsticals to overcome including learning disabilities, epilepsy and a stutter. This is an inspiring story to be sure and not just for the avid Longaberger collector. Much can be gleaned for anybody aspires to have a dream become a reality.

It worked out very well, great condition. I needed it to replace for a friend, who actually told me she was getting rid of it then requested a return. To keep the peace, I ordered it and returned it. Thank You.

) The book is in wonderful condition and ready to read. I have been a collector of baskets for years and am actually going to begin selling them this year(2009). I am really enjoying reading about the Founder of Longaberger and his family. Very interesting! I am very pleased with this item and would suggest that any basket lover, whether a collector or consultant, obtain and read this great story.
