Fans and haters alike will enjoy reading this book. Manson's biography bring so much more meaning to his songs. There is a lot of humor in this book, disturbing and otherwise.

I, personally was about to connect with him as a human being in some ways, while in others I will never really understand him. But it was a very soulful book. It's not for teens who like to kill animals and their parents, or whatever an uninformed person might think of the average Manson fan.

I thought the book was well written and easy to follow. It was humorous, exciting, and kept me at the edge of my seat. It was the kind of book that was fun to read, but didn't completely take over the mind like some other books. Overall, I recommend this book for everyone.

I was looking for this book for a special gift, very hard to find in stores. Internet web sites prices were a bit higher than regular price.
Found it here and I didn't hesetaited on getting it right away.

This is an insanely good book. It's a very in-your-face story that deals with alot of sad, sick, twisted, free and humorous life issues. Marilyn Manson truly is a product of the environment he was exposed to. Having said that, it shows me that he is not his own person; having lacked the confidence growing up to find himself; but instead he has taken all the different personality traits of those around him and created the person that he is. And it seems that he has taken all the strangest personality traits at that. I think it's very well written and when I got it in the mail I put down my current book and started reading it instantly.
I bought the book because I wanted to know more about Marilyn Manson and what could have possibly made him like he is. I certainly know now and I feel no judgement towards him. It's a real eye-opener into a world that most people don't even READ about much less live in. I was torn between being disgusted and being excited by this look into such a lifestyle. I had a very difficult time putting it down.

This story of his life, will keep you reading non-stop from cover to cover. I've read it literally over 30 times and never get tired of it. You will be amazed at the shocking truths he reveals in this fast paced thriller better known as his lfe. From the first pageg to the last you will laugh, cry, and yes, even struggle to hold back vomit, along side him. This is not, I repeat, NOT for the faint of heart. But it is Definitely for the true fans of Mr. Marilyn Manson himself. Even those that hate him, ought to take a day out to learn what makes this human tick. So give Manson, and yourself, a break and learn the truths behind the man before you judge him. I listened to his music for YEARS without fully understanding what fueled his lyrics and message. Once I read this book I TRULY learned how to appreciate his music and life, and his message behind the lyrics themselves. You will too!

This book will keep you reading for hours. I read it cover to cover and I hate reading!! If you are a Manson fan I think you have to read this book. If you are not a Manson fan I think you might enjoy it anyway.

Writing was bland and was very disjointed. Tone is informative with some stream of consiousness. I wasn't convinced...I thought Marilyn's book was gonna be a lot more interesting and charged. I recommend the book also by Neil Strauss, The Dirt on Motley Crue. Superior to this book.

One of the only books I have ever read cover to cover. It is simply so perverse I couldn't put it down. Would reccomend to anybody who is a Marilyn Manson fan, or anybody who would like to gaze into the mind of one of the centuries biggest shock rockers.

it was absolutely the best book i have ever read. information on his childhood on to his career in music, how he met people and the experiances he had through out. not one part dragged and the entire way through i couldnt wait to see what he did next.
