The Long Gray Line West Point Class 1966 -Rick Atkinson

Very interesting book--and well written; the author tells the story of several selected members from the class of 1966, their journey from their very first day at West Point in 1962; all the way through their years there.
As this time frame was during the Vietnam War, the book shows the tragedy endured by these men and their families. It also covers the period after the war, the disillusionment felt; and how these men changed over the course of the 25 years the book spans.
Anyone who is interested in American history, the Vietnam War, or West Point, etc. will benefit reading this book; and will remember it always.
Nicely illustrated with photos.
