The Chieftains compilation projects are always so great! Many well-known artists teaming with the illustrious Chieftains always make for a fantastic and diverse listen. I especially love Tom Jones on "The Tennessee Waltz" - they make this old song new without compromising the traditional version.

) I guess you could say I have a thing for The Chieftains, I LOVE this cd. It is all very good, and I would definitely purchase again. This is by far some of the best Celtic/Folk musice I have ever had the pleasure to hear. The combining with other musicians was lovely! You would never guess that is Mick Jagger on "The Long Black Veil".

Left me wanting a volume 2!One of the sweetest little CDs I have ever had. The Chieftains have long been a favorite group with me, and I was not sure how I'd like the "guests" CD, but I LOVE IT. The guests seem to inspire much variety and feeling in the Chieftains. I wish there would be a volume II...
