Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell, Patrick Robinson (2009, Paperback, Reprint)

The book Lone Survivor is an incredible story. It was interesting from the very first page to the very last, I could not put this book down. I consider it to be a must read.

I heard of the story in the book from a news show or some tv program. It seemed to grab my attention so I deecided to purchase the book. I am not even a normal book reader but this is a phenominal story!! These men in the US Special Forces are extraordinary. You don't even need to be interested in stories about war or military conflicts prior to reading this. It is a story about heroism and survival. These gus are heros!!!!!!!!!!

This book is truely one of the best book I've ever read.It gives alot of insight into what it takes to be Navy Seal. It also tells about the people and the lay of the land,there in Afghanistan. This piece of history makes many of us proud that we have individuals like Seal Team 10 .An for Marcus Luttrell to hang in there and get alive. So he could tell this like it happened.

I purchased this book because my husband likes him and watches a hunting show in which Marcus is a regular on. The book was packaged very well and in excellent condition. Thank You.

I decided to buy this book based on an interview that we saw on television with Marcus. It's quite a story, took me a little longer to read than normal because it's very emotional book filled with pride and something more. It's hard to describe this man's commitment and purpose. It just makes you very proud that he's on our side, a true American HERO!

This book is a peak inside of the life and training of Navy Seals and the type of individual that it take to be one. It also tells the story of a mission for 4 of them in Afghanistan that went bad. It is really a good book, but it is at points sad because it describes in great detail the firefight and the explicit details of the demise of several of the Seals.

As you are reading, it seems like you are almost there.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who thinks our military is not the best in the world. THEY ARE!

America is GREAT, not Perfect. I would rather have a bad day here than a great day anywhere else.

I don't get much time to read, but I HIGHLY recommend this book.
