Lone Star Quilts and Beyond by Jan Krentz (2002, Paperback)

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN LONE STAR QUILTS. IT HAS SOME AMAZING IDEAS AND ALOT OF HELP AND HOW TO IN IT. I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE I WANTED MORE IDEAS ON HOW TO MAKE MORE DIFFERENT LONE STAR QUILTS THAN THE TRADITIONAL TYPE OF QUILT.

I bought the book as a result of seeing the author on a TV show outlining the procedures and virtues of quilting in the style presented. I purchased the book because I wanted more information and greater detail about the procedure she outlined on the TV program. I found the book to be well written, and detailed to the extent that I was able to learn exactly what I wanted to transition to and understand that style of quilting.

I love this book! I love quilting and one of my favorite patterns is the lonestar. I've looked through this book in the book store and thought about buying it but put it back. But when I found it used on ebay I couldn't pass it up. The book is in excellent condition, and no book looks brand new once you've opened it a few times anyway, so why buy new? This book is full of fabulous quilting ideas and inspirations and the technique makes it look easy. I know I am inspired, when I see color combinations I picture them in the lonestar pattern in my head. I'm sure I will be making a number of lonestar quilts using the techniques in this book.
