Great photo effects, mediocre construction

The colorsplash photo I bought via e-Bay was my second one. My first one lasted one year then the film wind up reel and reel handle broke. The second one seems to be working OK, but the film somehow got "hung up" on some internal parts and was only able to take 24 of 36 available shots on a roll of film. Also, rewinding the "hung up" film was a problem as ultimately the camera had to be opened in complete darkness (so not to damage the film) and be manually rewound. Loading film into the camera can be tricky as it usually takes multiple times for the film to "catch" on the intake reel.
Nonetheless, the photos taken with this camera have been excellent, and the colorsplash effects you can achieve are fantastic. Also, the ability to leave the shutter open for time and motion elapsed effects is a great feature. If you're into lomography, this is really a wonderful camera for the photos you can create.
Should this camera breakdown again, I would grudgingly probably get another one, but it is quite a shame that such a neat camera would have such glaring construction deficiencies.
