Loitering with Intent by Stuart Woods (2009, Hardcover)

a very good read. keeps you guessing who-done-it more than usual for a stone barrington novel. however, i do think it's time that stone stowed "his gear" just a little. I mean really mr. woods who's varility are we testing here?

We like all of Stuart Woods books and after buying Loitering With Intent have now read all of them. His books are hard to put down once you start reading them. We recommend this one.

My husband likes the author, keeps you interested. Sometimes it is hard to put the book down. Always asking about the next book.

I bought this book because it is the newest book in the Stone Barrington series by Stuart Woods. I started this series because a guest left one of Mr. Woods' books at the restaurant where I work and, it being a really slow night, I was tempted to pick it up and give it a try. What a great choice that was. The book I stepped into was in the middle of all the stories and once I finished it, I was hooked. Stuart Woods incorporates most of the same characters in his books so you get to see their lives expand and grow without it becoming too much. I have since gone back to the beginning and am up-to-date in the central story about the life of Stone Barrington. He is the main character in this book and I have been able to watch him get better and more entertaining with time. I recommend this author to anyone who loves to read mysteries with action, some really light romance, and some humor. The characters will become part of your extended family like they have in mine. I'm just waiting on the next story!

The story is interesting, but the ending could be better. I'd say it's a typical Stone Barrington novel. Lots of sex, twist, and banter between him and Dino. If you like Stuart Woods I'd say this is one of his better books.

This book was awesome. I couldn't put it down. Just like all the others in the Stone Barrington series. I can not wait for the next one to come out.
