Logitech X-540 5 Speakers

The Logitech X-540 speaker system was a perfect choice. Very affordable, great sound and tone, and very easy to install. Whether for PC or game player use, the Logitech X-540 system is perfect for a home office, kids room or game room.

great sound and affordable, this is a good sys for computer games and music. The only thing is it needed longer wires for speakers. Not a big problem just get rca male to female extensions.

I love these speakers. The sound quality is excellent, especially for the price. By adding these to my computer, my room went from lame to party room in no time at all. The system is a bit room consuming, and the cords are a little bit short, but these are minor inconveniences that are offset by the bargain that you get by purchasing these speakers. Excellent for anyone looking for a good set of speakers on a not so large budget, and I would suggest these highly to anyone.

These speakers usually cost a lot more than they do here, so its a good price.
And of course they're great speakers with a powerful sub.
Logitech has always been the way to go for me for things like speaker, mouse, and keyboard.
Even though they are refurbished, these speakers are great. These speakers definitely haven't let me down =]

I love these speakers. the base is deep and throaty the way i like it. the 5-1 surround is awesome you should here transformers revenge of the fallen and G I Joe just to mention a couple. Logitech is the way to go in computer hardware. I bought these refurbished because i have never had a problem with refurb items and the cost was about half of new. if not for ebay well i would have to visit best buy and pay way too much.

I bought these speakers to use first for my computer, but then hooked them up to my PS3. I must say, for their price (i paid less than 50) they are a great deal. a 5.1 speaker system for less than 100$? thats unheard of. I also own a pair of klipsch 2.1 speakers, they cost over $200, i must say, If i could, i would take back my Klipsch and buy four sets of these speakers. great deal, get them while you can

After about 25 years of not having decent computer gear (young kids tend to break stuff), I broke down and bought this speaker system (also bought a new Audio card too). The price was impossible to pass up. After using the $10.00 speakers from Walmart for so long, I was just blown away with the sound from this system. "Simply Awesome" is probably an inadequate description. There's nothing I don't love about these.

I like how this system sounds, it has a nice soft base. Really good for my room. i put it all overmy room and its sounds great!!! I like it!!!

The quality and range of sound is impressive. Even though it only supports analog output/input (3 stereo mini-plug cables)for 5.1 surround sound, the Matrix Mode did a great job when I connected them via stereo mini-plug to my Xbox 360. My room is about 10' x 10' and I CANNOT turn these on at full blast, they'd just be deafening. However I have turned them all the way up, and left the door open and they fill the entire house! Amazing is an understatement, these speakers deliver! Be it for movies, games, music, you can't go wrong with them if you can get them shipped for under $100. Anything higher than that and you can start looking at more higher end systems. But in the sub-$100 category this is the best 5.1 surround system you can buy.

There is only one flaw which is really no flaw at all. The cable lengths! If you plan on using these for a medium to large sized room, get a set of extension cables, trust me on this! However if the speakers are for a small room (like mine) the are just right, but barely! All in all I am extremely happy with my new speakers, and for the price they can't be beat.

I bought these speakers after purchasing a new sound card. They sound so much better than my old 2.1 speakers. The sound is clear at both low volume and higher volumes. Music is clear, and now I can hear the footsteps of the enemy approaching in FPS games. The Matrix button is helpful to me since I don't have room to put 2 speakers to the rear. Find a good price and buy these speakers.

These speakers do pretty well for 5.1 low ends. If you are using them for your tower, laptop, or for use with a gaming system, they are worth a good look. They are inexpensive and ship well if they are NIB. Setup takes 2 minutes and the manual is brief and to the point.

If you are looking for a high end system, you might want to look at a more rangy system, as this one covers only so much and can distort at high dB's. It handle's soft dialogue very well, little hiss or static is ever noticed. The matrix function allows you to simulate a 5.1 system when only given a computer stereo out. So, when the bass kicks in you really feel it in a small room. That's the one nice thing about this package, the sub is pretty good for a small thing.

I watched an action flick on a laptop with these plugged in, (Cloverfield), the explosions were really solid. Dialogue was ok, nothing special, but overall, you can hear everything fine with a moderate setting.

All in all, for a very inexpensive system, its worth it as long as you aren't paying more than $75-90 for it. Anything more, simply look for Creative, Apple, or Logitech's higher end systems.

Well first of all I like the Logitech brand and I decided to buy it because I was needing a home theater system soo I thought this speaker would do the job. I got a little disappointed after all because the system sound is really poor not wat I was expecting although the subwafer sound is really firm and heavy but over all the logitech brand is really good but "NOT" for home theater, and I hope that if you would like to have a home theater systen don't go for computer speakers they're not good at it or think twice before you make a choice.

I like the sound quality of having these speakers to my control, I only wish that this had if at all the manuel, im impressed of such sound these speakers can produce. I bought this speaker system because i wanted more sound from my first pair of speakers.

For the price these are very nice sounding speakers. Set up is very easy. They can set on flat surface or hang on the wall. Was very impressed with them and bought another set for my other editing computer.

my plans on purchasing this product was for movies, music, and gaming because of the matrix button (surround sound). i had never seen or used this product in person but only read reviews online, i thought this would be a good purchased from so many good reviews.
right when the package arrived home i plugged this system right into my sound card and it was amazing. the bass is good enough to make my upstairs room floor vibrate a little and the overall speakers are crystal clear.
also i wanted to hang the speakers up but had to buy 75ft more on speaker wire in order to fit my needs.
OVERALL if you want a good surround sound speaker for a good price this is for you, but in my opionion i would of bought the model higher than the X-540 for higher volume and more kick from the bass.

I bought these from an Ebay seller for 50 bucks shipped, and that's the basic price range you want to be looking for. They're a basic 5.1 setup, no frills. Hooks up easily, works well. They're not going to blow out any windows, but they sound great if you're not a total audiophile.
