Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF Web Cam

I can't wait till this item comes because I am so happy to get a webcam. I really can't wait till I get it set up and ready for use.

As always Logitech has made a good product. The camera is a great camera. I personally was disappointed by the quickcam software. I went with 3rd part programs to run my camera. Check out logitech forums on their website.

Camera Great....The only thing is it's a little jerky when following you.
But the quality of the photos it takes is amazing. I love it...........If you are looking for a cool looking webcam with cool features I would buy this camera!!!!!!!!!

Very good camera, took me 5 min to set it up. Quality and sound a top notch. The only thing is not working right now super good is the Tracking motion feature. It sometimes catches the image incorrect . But apart from that it the best camera you can get

FINE CAMERA. I must say that everyone should experience this web cam. I have another web cam that I was using before, but does not compare in any way to the Orbit Web Cam...

I like this styles, then at stander is problems. That are adjustable and moving head is stop, Because that is not necessary, they have long-life? I thinks, one or two years after they make problems. Another one, it is higher bad, you can make adjustable hight 2~4" (not auto, only handle up-down are okay. This is only openions.

When using this WebCam with Skype, I received good comment about the quality of the image.

The very unique feature of this camera is the rotation engine allowing showing the general surrounding of your home just by clicking with your mouse on the setting menu (instead of holding the camera in your hand).

The only critique would be that I do not recommend using the electronic zoom while using Skype, as the image become very blurry when you try to do a close up (Same issue with the QuickCam Pro 9000).

So when in Skype mode, keep the camera about 2 to 3 feet from your face to get a good image quality.

Nevertheless you can use the electronic zoom to make pictures that you directly saved into your computer and the quality is still good in this case, but again doing the same using Skype result in a bad quality. This is something that I did not figured out.

I wish that in the future, a new model will have an electric zoom so all the CCD pixels would be always used, keeping the image quality constant.

The microphone is also of good quality. In general I start a Skype conversation by sitting in front of the computer screen and camera. Then I turn the camera toward a sofa where I can continue talking while sitting comfortably using the ambient microphone of the camera and the computer speakerphone.

I purchased the Logitech Orbit Webcam based on a strong recommendation from my computer guy to do so. He has tested and checked many webcams and has concluded that this is the best on the market.

Thank You Ebay for allowing me the opportunity to purchase this item at a lower cost than found in retail stores. A big plus is being able to do so without expending time and energy in traveling from store to store - it's all right here, just keystrokes away...and my purchases have arrived very quickly!

I will continue to check Ebay first before venturing out for those needed items.
