Review created: 11/04/09(updated 11/04/09)

This was a 3 pack that I purchased quite cheap..and love all the movies
The Lodger {2009}.....The tale of a serial killer in West Hollywood has two converging plot lines. The first involves an uneasy relationship between a psychologically unstable landlady and her enigmatic lodger; the second is about a troubled detective engaged in a cat-and-mouse game with the elusive killer, who is imitating the crimes of Jack the Ripper....
The Orphanage {2007}....The former orphan Laura raises her adopted son Simón with her husband Carlos in an old house and former orphanage where she was raised. Simón is HIV positive and tells Laura that he has five invisible friends, and she believes they are fruit of his imagination. Laura decides to reopen an orphanage for handicapped children in the location and during the opening party, Simón calls her to show the little cabin of his friend Tomás. The busy Laura does not gives much attention to her son; then she sees a mysterious masked boy and Simón vanishes. Laura feels the presence of other persons in the house and months later, the desperate Laura invites a team of parapsychologists to try to unravel the mystery.....This movie is not in english but spanish with english subtitles. But still a great movie....
Joshua (2007)....In Manhattan, the successful stockbroker Brad Cairn and his beautiful wife Abby are celebrating their newborn daughter Lily in their new fancy apartment with Brad's mother Hazel and Abby's brother, the artist Ned Davidoff. Their extremely intelligent and talented nine year-old son Joshua is feeling neglected and jealous of Lily, trying to attract more attention from his parents and relatives. When the baby is nineteen days old, she starts to uninterruptedly crying, driving Abby to a nervous breakdown. Meanwhile the family's dog dies and Brad asks for vacation to stay with Lily and Joshua. When Joshua goes to the museum with his grandmother and Lily, Brad accidentally watches a videotape in his camera and finds Joshua forcing Lily to cry. Brad runs to the museum and he sees Joshua with Hazel in the top of the stairs and in the next moment Hazel dropping down the stairs and dying. Brad concludes that Joshua pushed Hazel and is hurting Lily but the evidences show another reality....This is a great movie and the boy played by Jacob Kogan ...great performance....this movie also reminded me of... The Omen.....But still a great movie . Must see and own...
