Locomotion DVD set from the HIstory Channel

My son is three and a half and SO into trains, he LOVES this disc set. I haven't shown him the war-locomotion documentary, but that will come in time. He has only seen the first disc about the development of the railroad and he wants to watch it all of the time. I love the educational value, and he loves the content. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to expand their child's knowledge of trains beyond the world of Thomas and Friends.

) I like Trains, toy and real Steam engines mainly. I'm basicly a history nut, Trains and world war two aircraft are my favorites. This DVD is a history of trains past present and future.

More train history than trains

It is a good movie, but meant more as a history of railroading and not so much about locomotives. I bought it for my train loving grandson who was a little disappointed that it was made for a much older generation. If you are into the history of trains, then this movie is perfect for you.

My little grandson is four and is all into trains now. He loves watching it and has watched it over and over. So I feel like as long as it is entertaining and keeps him interested and he is learning about something he loves that it was a very well priced item.
