I had gotten the book the next day, after I had gotten the confirmation of it being sent to me. Yet when I had bought the book, the description had failed to tell me that the book had some water damage to the back of the book...Other than that the book was great.

I purchased this book as a textbook for an Art Appreciation class I am taking.
I have found it to be an excellent reference book concerning the elements of art.
It is not a historically written book but one that delves into what makes art and what to look for when viewing art. It is nicely illustrated and contains a nice glossary for looking up terms.

I love this . I decided to buy it because it was in the Range of price that i wanted to buy a school book for ! Im a college student and book are no where cost to cheap. Thanks for being reasonable for a young student to buy

I am a full-time student and was introduced to e-bay's half.com program through a co-worker who has 3 children in college at all times. It's a wonder program that I have just recently taken advantage of. This past January our campus bookstore was outsourced to Barnes and Noble, since then alot has changed including their stricter buy-back program and the supplies we were so used to having at hand. I sold back books in May 2009 and out of 9 books I had to sell, they bought back 3. I was truly disappointed and have chosen to outsource my book buying and chose half.com, I haven't been disappointed yet! Thank you for a site that allows student's who don't make alot of money the ability to purchase books that are reasonably priced.

I get what I pay for, a good book for a good price, I was relived to see that it was in very good condition. For being my first ebay transaction it was good.

seller didn't take good care of the book. The corner of the cover is tear off a little bit, and there are markers and handwriting written inside. I've never buy a book like this before. Oh well, I guess it's alright as long as it's not super dirty or smelly. I am sorry if I offended you. I am a clean freak.

I did not receive the book when I was suppose to and when I emailed them they apologized for me not getting the book and to say they did not have anymore in stock. I had to get the book from somewhere else and have it expediated so that I would have it for my class 5/4/09

I paid for this book some time back only to find the seller not listed anymore.
