Living With Ghosts by Patty Griffin (CD, May-2005, A&M Records USA)

This is an excellent cd. Lovely voice.
Perfect driving cd....great to "sing along with" also emotional
and deep. I adore it and feel no collect is complete without it.
Obviously leans more towards "girls music"(as in "Girls movie")
Lyrics that hit home with that incredible ability to speak directly to the listener's heart and soul.

I heard "You are not alone" on XM and googled Patty Griffin, found this cut on her first album. I listened to this cut several times before realizing what the song was about. Powerful lyrics, phrasing and inflection with an unusual guitar tuning capture the essence of her composition. But, the best part is the entire album is filled with remarkably poignant songs. I feel like I struck gold so of course I'm looking for more. She's Dylan, Stevie Nicks, Ricky Lee Jones, Bonnie Raitt, Damien Rice and Dave Matthews rolled into one and then lifted a little higher.

Excellent..as good as others by her...Love it..want all of her discs , got hooked by Children Running Through..Good stuff

This one is a must-have! It's just a girl and her guitar, no other vocals or instruments. She takes you on the ride by creating a full sound of raw feeling and emotion in every song. A treat for the ears! It's pure artistry at its finest. Love, love, love it!

This album tells some of patty's best stories ever. In my opinion, it is this album that alone would put her up at the top of the greatest singer/songwriters of the last few decades. Her other albums just reinforce this fact. But this is definitely one to add to your collection.

CD was in great condition, in orginal CD case, good asking price, was quick to get in mail. Overall, a great buy
