In Living Color - Season 2 (DVD, 2004, 4-Disc Set)

The Wayans are talented and good-looking; all of them! They can also be very funny! I watched "In Living Color" when it first debuted. I have two DVD's and show it to friends. Much of it is still clever and tasty! It's not as topical as before because times have changed, but it captures a period of life in our culture when blacks assumed a leadership role in how we all looked at ourselves and could do so with humor! Playing on stereotypes, they made everyone see themselves better and in the process put new friends in their living rooms; ones that they look forward to seeing again and again! I wish they were on TV today! There is still so much to be said! I want to be critical, but the more I think about this and the insight and pleasure they deliver, it's hard; especially for those that did not have the opportunity to enjoy it the first time around! It still has unexpected punches and plenty of style! I still love it! I think others will, too!

This season starts to really get interesting with more hilarious episodes of Homey the Clown and Jim Carey's infamous Fire Marshall Bill. The first season didn't yet include Fire Marshall Bill.

It appears that the DVD was poorly recorded. It seems like they might have been copied. All together they are poor quality!! and I would not buy from that seller again.

It is a very funny past television series that of course you must have a slight off beat of humor to truly enjoy. This was the stepping stone for many beginners such as Tommy Davidson, Jim Carrey, Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Foxx, etc. and of course the Wayans Family(Ivory Keenan, Damon, Marlon, Shawn, Kim). The show was a bit riske for the time it was on, but again they pushed as far as the FCC would allow. Eventually the Wayans broke off to main steam theater movies releases such as..."I'm gonna get you sucker", "The 6th Man", "White Chicks", the "Scary Movie" series, "A Low Down Dirty Shame", "Major Payne", "MO Money" just to name a few that they have written, directered & starred in. If you enjoy they form of comedy, you'll love this show.

I remember the show as being funny back in the good old days! Some parts weren't as funny as they were back then but still enjoyed it. It was good for some laughs.

I like that it contains many famous comedians and how their careers took off. it is full of good old humor. I want to collect all five seasons.

Excellent like all the others! Handi-man, Fire marshall Bill and of course Men on Films, too many laughs to count. Gotta love the foxy Fly Girls and some "good" rap music.

Give it a buy, you won't be dissapointed.

Excellent comedy at it's naughty best season two and three are the best season one found living color finding itself and give it to you with seasons two and three season four was ok but the cast started to leave the show one by one thanks to the stuck up network Fox. That wanted to change the show from it's orginal format to what they wanted to see and the cast said screw you's so they started to leave the show. And just look how awful season five was a total flop in ratings and humor the worst of the seasons not that funny at all. The writers left too after season four and fox got writers that they thought was suit there taste and look at it SUCKS and was canceled too so buy one through four and please skip five if you want to torture a person give them season five.

Funny, funny, funny, Just as we remembered! Even our teenage son and his friends roll with laughter.
