Live Your Best Life by Oprah Winfrey (2005, Hardcover)

I wonder if the previous reviewer is referring to a different book--Oprah's book just came out in September 2005, so she couldn't have received it last year for her birthday. Plus, her description doesn't really make sense. Oprah's book is not a Christian book. Possibly she's thinking of Joel Osteen's book, Your Best Life Now...which is indeed a Christian book. Easy to get those two confused because of the similarities of their titles.

Oprah's book is a compilation of inspirational articles from her magazine, O, The Oprah Magazine. It's divided into 3 sections: "Your Personal Best," "Relationships," and "Living in the World." Just wanted to clarify. If you like O, this is the best of the best.

THIS BOOK HAS MY HEART. IT IS FULL OF ADVICE AND INSPIRATION THAT WILL LEAVE YOU READY FOR THE NEXT PAGE BEFORE FINISHING THE ONE YOU ARE ON. IF YOU WANT TO LAUGH OR CRY THIS IS IT. WHEN I RECIEVED THIS BOOK AS A GIFT I WAS AT A LOW POINT IN MY LIFE AND IT REALLY PICKED ME UP. THERE IS NO WAY OPRAH COULD TOP LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE BECAUSE THIS BOOK TRULY SHOWS YOU HOW TO DO THAT.

I liked this book so much, I bought a copy for both of my young adult daughters. Oprah is all about self improvement and helping everyone to feel self worth.

I had this book borrowed from the library and knew I just had to get my own copy. Has a lot of great info on so many different subjects. Oprah has found the best people to help us with so many things. Alot are just ordinary folks with great ideas. It was well worth the money. Love this book!!

It's positive, we need positive role models in this day and age. Most things that involve Oprah are great.

I was given this book as a birthday present last year - my friend absolutely loved it. I however, couldn't get through the first chapter, which was full of 20 year old Christian cliches. But it does speek to people at different levels. Having been a born-again Christian for more that two decades, I wanted and needed material to help me go 'deeper'. My friend, has had her personal relationship with Jesus for not quite five years, so she soaked it up and it was very helpful to her - it met her where she was at. Very enlightening to someone new to the journey of faith.

I like Oprah Winfrey book and I found it for a good price. And I love shopping on E-Bay , The Book I got was in excellent shape. Let me konw if you have any more Oprah book . Thank You
