Live at Wolf Trap by Doobie Brothers (The) (CD, Sep-2004, Sanctuary USA)

Can't say what the other reviewer was on when he reviewed this, but this is a great concert. The Doobies carefully chose songs spanning their entire career up to and including the incredible "Sibling Rivalry" CD. They play better today than they did 30 years ago... and this CD is proof positive of this.

Having said that, the clarity of some of the vocals could be a bit better, but hello... it's LIVE. I bought this CD for my car, but at home I have the DVD which includes at least one more song on it. I HIGHLY recommend you get BOTH the CD and the DVD if you want to see/hear one of America's PREMIER Rock Bands at the height of their skills. Sadly, Keith Knudsen would be gone within a year of this performance. But he's kickin' it here and the band was all the better for it.

It's all here... from Talouse St. to Sibling Rivalry and it doesn't get much better than this unless you're at a concert. 'Nuff said!

As I said this item took me back to my High School days, and into the Army Where nothing was certain. A few beers and my Doobie Bros. 8 tracks took the sting away about touring beautiful South East Asia.
Now in my 50's and being able to find my old, (and long gone)Doobies music in a CD format seems almost too good to believe, but here it is, and it is better than ever!
