Probably the BEST re-union video I have EVER heard or Seen of this fantastic duo! The live 2-hour performance is AMAZING! They are Both BETTER than Ever, & the 2CD + DVD price is a STEAL!

Loved the cd and the dvd, Hall and oates are in great voice, and look like they are having a good time. More of the old songs than new, the band is incredible, if you like Hall and Oates, you will like this cd and dvd.

Disappointing
) We enjoyed Hall & Oates music in the 70's and 80's, but hadn't connected with them since that era. Then we saw they were appearing in Clearwater FL on April 15th, 2009 so bought tickets. Also bought this CD/DVD set recorded live at the Troubadour in LA just last year to help us get back in touch so to speak.
Huge disappointment. Weak and pathetic vocals and music back up. All down to poor recording quality we suspect. Very nearly decided to trash the tickets for the gig. Glad we didn't as the 'real thing' was fantastic.
The venue - Ruth Eckerd Hall - probably made all the difference. Great concert hall acoustics rather than the small club environment of the Troubadour.
So instead of trashing the tickets for this gig, we've trashed this CD/DVD set. Be in no doubt that the 2 boys are on top form and the backing guys are fantastic. But H&O fans should avoid this particular purchase unless attracted by the nostalgia of the venue 35 years after H&O's first appearance there.
No complaints about the seller of the CD/DVD set. We got exactly what they were offering and in good time. The quality of the (sealed) contents were a different matter. If you want H&O material, choose something else - not this package.
