If you didn't get your fill with 1992's LIVE AT SWEETWATER, then LIVE AT SWEETWATER TWO (issued a year later) will hopefully do the trick. Recorded during the same Sweetwater Club show in Mill Valley, CA, special guests Pete Sears, Maria Muldauer, and the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir join Hot Tuna stalwarts Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady for a set of acoustic blues, which turns out to be the first "unplugged" Tuna album featuring new material in nearly 23 years. SWEETWATER TWO proves to be every bit as enjoyable as its predecessor, containing such highlights as "Hesitation Blues," "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" (with Weir), "Parchman Farm," and a studio song, "Endless Sleep." LIVE AT SWEETWATER TWO is perfectly captures the acoustic soul of Hot Tuna.
