Well the newly released issue is decent for the current brickwalled movement in cd mastering. This issue on the other hand still keep the dynamic punch worth of Bowie from this era. Keep in mind this is a live recording so it does lack some of that studio perfection.

Great performance, dicey production quality
) Many Bowie fans think this is the single best live show Bowie ever did with The Spiders. Yes, it is a great performance. Ronson is at the top of his form. The band is tight. Sure there are a few vocal gaffs. But live shows shouldn't be perfect. Warts and all a top notch show. Like the Ian Hunter Missing in Action CD, this would have benefited from a proper production, EQing, remix. So, if you like live performance, blemishes and all you'll like this. But it isn't perfect.
