I just love the band, and still want to give the credit for em. I'm trying too collect whatever comes up, and this one, I didn't have. So one piece less too chase. And it was worth the money, like everything else the Doors have made. CHEERS!!!

Everybody talks about Detroit, but I think this is a much better concert. The highlight is a performance of 'Universal Mind' much superior to the first recording of that piece at the Aquarius concerts. Gone is the jazzy middle section replaced by a straight rock beat featuring some of the best organ playing Manzarek ever did: in tone and feel kind of a cross between the Animals 'House of the Rising Sun' and the classic organ solo on Del Shannon's "Runaway".
And there are many more treasures besides this. Reall, this is a "must have" album for any lover of Morrison and the Doors.

) Part of a series of shows that Bright Midnight Records with the tremendous work of Bruce Botnick. The sound is very clear, it's almost like you were there. That show and the others like Boston, Detroit and Pittsburgh bring us back the opportunity to hear and feel what was the Doors concert in 1970. They were in another class, out of time and 38 years after, Jim, Ray, Bobby and John sounds still good, still great.
