Recorded live in November, 1990 at Olympijski Stadium, Moscow, USSR.
After nearly five years' hiatus, Asia reunited in 1990, as longtime members John Wetton (vocals/bass), Carl Palmer (drums), and Geoff Downes (keyboards) were joined by guitarist Pat Thrall (Steve Howe was the only original Asia member to be a no-show). While the band's U.S. popularity may not have been on par with their early-'80s peak, the quartet was still in demand in other markets, as evidenced by a pair of sold-out shows in Moscow.
The standout performances of those shows make up 1990's in-concert LIVE IN MOSCOW collection. Here such Asia favorites as "Don't Cry," "Go," "Heat of the Moment," "Only Time Will Tell," and a pair of King Crimson classics, "Starless" and "Book of Saturday," are featured to an enthusiastic post-glasnost reception.
