Live From Lincoln Center - An Evening With Danny Kaye (VHS, 1992)

I not only have seen the original performance of this show, I was lucky enough to tape it off the T.V. I have looked for a professional recording of the show for many years. Finally, I got one and I discovered a Major disappointment. The intermission has been cut out of the recording. During that intermission, Danny Kaye is seen talking to others and interviews are seen that point out the extreme skill of Danny Kaye. Why anyone would cut this out is beyond me! It is like a bonus feature of DVDs. (This is a VHS)
It is very doubtful that this review can be of any benefit for anyone as a recording of the show is basically non-exsistent. Still, it must be said that the performance is excellent and extremely entertaining. It is just a shame the intermission material was not included.
