Knows what she has. Knows how to use it. "For Good" not evil!
If she has an ego; she hides it darn well.

Martina is the Number # 1 Lady in Country music.You know the best part of it.She APPRECIATES and KNOWS she has been blessed and gives the credit Where it should go.Like she said I am just the instrument God is using.She ia CLASS A+++++++ all the way.I'm not saying Reba is not great or Carrie, or Taylor.They are all good.Just a matter of taste I think.Like the Patriots and Giants.A matter of who you like best for whatever reason.That's what's great about our Country the good old U.S.A..Because of those people fighting for us in Iraq right now,in harm's way,those people present and past give us FREEDOM of choice.We really do not realize how fortunate we are.Those of you fighting right now,I COMMEND YOU WITH THE UTMOST RESPECT.I'm sure the rest of America does to.God Bless you ! THIS IS MARTINA MCBRIDE'S FIRST CONCERT RELEASED FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. IT WAS RECORDED FOR PBS EARLIER THIS YEAR. INCLUDED IS AN 8 SONG CD WITH SELECTIONS FROM THE CONCERT. THE DVD IS 20 SONGS AND THE AUDIO AND VISUAL QUALITY ARE GREAT. WATCHING THIS IT'S EASY TO SEE WHY SHE HAS SO MANY FANS, MYSELF INCLUDED. I'VE NOT HAD THE CHANCE TO CATCH ONE OF HER LIVE SHOWS, SO THIS WILL HAVE TO DO. TRUST ME, GET THIS CONCERT, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. CHRIS.

Martina McBride concert is great. However, the DVD is 4 GBytes in size, half of the size of a quality HD recording. Due to this, there is a lot of grain and pixelation versus a 9 GByte DL DVD, which this concert should have been distributed on. This detracts from the great concert. The sound quality is good, but the picture quality is sub-par. In this age of HD TV and quality videos, there is no excuse in producing a commercial DVD with this low video quality. I wonder if the PBS version of the concert that was sold for a lot more money had the higher quality video. As for the companion CD, it's good, but could have a lot more songs to fill the CD. The concert contained a lot more selections than present on the CD. So in summary, Martina does a great job of delivering the songs and relating to the audience, but the sub-standard video quality due to the use of the 4 GByte DVD format instead of DL 9 GBytes, and the minimal amount of songs on the CD detract from the experience.

This purchase was for my 18 yr old daughter, who already liked Martina a lot. Together we have seen Martina perform live. Seeing her live was a monutmental experience, as her vocal abilities are so utterly true and not fabricated in the music studio, so we knew that this CD and DVD would sound wonderful. It really is! Her vocal abilities have to be seen and heard, such as live or with this purchase, as they are really amazing. I wonder she doesn't get more crical acclaim, but then I assume she is not one to "make the headlines" much and lives more of a quiet life. Regardless, you won't be disappointed with this item, should you purchase it.
