Based on a true story of CNN's coverage of the start of the 1991 Iraq War, it has interesting behind the scenes stories of what we watched live and how it evolved. Makes for some good "inside" look at how news organizations operate. The various military forces watched CNN at every opportunity and helped make sense of some of the day's events. This film will serve as a tribute to a wide variety of participants. This 2003 issue film is in a DVD format. It definately captures the atmosphere of the day!

) Great storyline that does not drag throughout the entire movie and wonderful performances by Keaton and Bonham Carter. HBO does a great job showing how CNN became the most trusted name in American news broadcasting. Oh, and watch out for Bruce McGill as Peter Arnett - the movie is an absolute treat!

Someone who knew we were living in the MidEast at the start of the first Gulf War loaned us this movie and thus began my quest to own a copy.
The movie describes how CNN rose to the top of the heap in the news world because a few good people were in the right place at the right time. If you are a news junkie, you will recognize the names of the reporters, who are portrayed brilliantly throughout the movie.
