The music is very crisp and the banter with the audience is minimal, as it could be more, as in concerts of recent times

) All but the last track were recorded for a live BBC broadcast at the very moment that the general public started taking notice of Dire Straits. The songs are all first rate.

Live at the BBC Dire StraitsEarly in the career of this amazing singer/songwriter, with an able bunch to back him up. Not normal rock and roll, but more stuff going on, with classical touches, hard rock and ballads. You can hear the exuberance of youth in this small audience recording. Don't see it much on Ebay, so it got it for a nice price
