Little Voice by Sara Bareilles (CD, Jul-2007, Epic USA)

What is not to like about the inappropriately named 'Little Voice'? I bought it solely for 'Love Song'. What I realized after listening to the entire disc (numerous times) is that there isn't a bad song here. In fact, my favorite isn't even 'Love Song' for which, I am sure, this disc will be most well known (mine is actually 'One Sweet Love'). Sara offers a range from the husky-voiced lounge singer to the pop star who can belt out the tunes. I just dont have anything bad to say about it. I am eagerly awaiting her next album and will most certainly be in the front row for any appearance of hers anywhere near central Texas. Thank you, Sara, for music that is actually worth listening to today!!

I absolutely love this CD. She is now one of my favorite artists, and definitely one of my favorite albums. Her beautiful voice mixed with the compelling and deep lyrics of life, love and relationships is to not be heard lightly. She is definitely someone I would consider a rising star and a must have in your musical collection.

I decided to buy the Sara Bareilles CD because, once I first heard one of her songs on the radio, I knew I had to buy it! She is one of the best singers I've ever heard and her songs have deep meanings that can really touch your heart. If you're looking for a CD that will help you feel relaxed, this one is the right one for you.

This is a recent album by one of the best new female
pop artists. It is brand new and inexpernsively priced.
Moreover, it arrived promptly. What more could I want?

Beautiful voice, I saw Sara on the Today show and knew I had to have the cd,bid on e-bay, got a great deal and shipped immedietly, I cant wait to hear more of her work in the future, recommend this cd to anyone.

The CD was new and un-opened as described on eBay. I'm totally satisfied with the eBay process and have used it numerous times.

I bought the cd because i liked the shong that i was on the radio and wanted to get it cheaper than is was is stores.

This is probably one of the most creative CDs out there today, and Sara Bareilles is going places. Anyone who has ever seen her live set will tell you that she's an amazing performer, and her music is so involved. I'm fortunate enough to have a copy of "Careful Confessions" (Her first CD, which is now out of stock everywhere), and let me just say, everything I have heard from her is spectacular.

This album is all you could ever want in a CD, excellent music from beginning to end. Little Voice with BIG payoff.

Very fresh sound, each song has its own unique feel and you never feel that a song was included on this CD just for the heck of it. Each gem belongs.

I have not felt so strongly about a CD since the Pretenders "Last of the Independents" album. If managed right Sara could have a long carrier much like a Sheryl Crow.

I first heard her songs through my friend but she didn't quite catch my attention until I saw Love Song MV. The song was in my head all day so I decided to check her other songs out. I ended up liking most of them so I bought the album.
Sara Bareilles is amazing, her voice is just lovely. Her songs are great too, I can never get tired of them. I don't dislike anything about this product, overall I'm very satisfied.

Sara has a very soulful voice,and her piano playing is a craft of talent.I liked Love Song on the radio,but her cd as an album is excellent,give it a listen.Enjoy!

I love the fact that she has blended many different styles together and it works!! I decided to buy it after listening to her number 1 single "Love Song". While listening to "Love Song", I saw that she had many other songs and I decided to give them a listen. Once I listened to the other songs, I knew immediatley that I wanted the whole CD. If I can listen to a few songs ONE time and like them after listening to them ONE time, the I'm definitely a fan of the artist. This is how it was for Ms. Barielles. It even influenced me to go and check out her concert and that was just as good as the cd.

Love most of the songs on the CD. Normally I only like one or two songs on a CD but on this I like more than usual!

I bought this CD on Ebay as I was unble to find it at the store where I usually purchase my CD's. The price was good and the total cost including shipping was stil less than what I would have paid at retail. The seller shipped it very quickly too. Excellent experience!

I really don't want to say so many things about Sara Bareilles CD "Little Voice" that it would sound as if you heard it all before, but this girl is awesome!!! I actually bought this CD for the hit track "Love Song" not knowing anything else about her. Nevertheless, after listening to the entire CD the first time I knew I had purchased a gem. I really like her voice, it's fresh and unique to her. I don't hear her imitating any other singers I know. I also like the fact that she's a song writer and wrote all the songs for this album except one. Also the fact she plays a mean piano. Last, I like the band she has. They have a lot of energy and compliment her voice so well. I don't have any dislike about the CD at all, out of 12 songs 9 of them I will play more than twice or three times when I listening the CD.

The seller was great, and so is the CD! it dosent have a scratch on it! and it is supposed to be a used CD. I love the artist! she is so great! I dont think that there is one thing that I dont like.

What I love about this artist/CD is her voice. She has a great smooth voice that can be powerful or so gentle and calming. I was excited when I bought her CD. I listened to it, and it's a pretty good CD. The only thing, it kind of lost me somewhere after a few songs... as in... it didn't keep my attention even thought some of the lyrics grab your attention. Some of these songs have some really good lyrics. I'm a girl who enjoys EVERY type of music... so, I'll just give you a run down on the list of songs with a rate of 1-10, 10 being the best. If you'd like to judge for yourself, you can always go to amazon.com, and listen to the music yourself which samples 30 seconds of each song. Do keep in mind that this is not just pop, it's adult contemporary, so if you're that type of person, you'd enjoy this CD. Very relaxing!

I love her sound, so relaxing. She has a beautiful voice! Hopefully she will be around for a long time like Witney Houston or Mariah Carey.

I had heard snippets of Sara's songs on a commercial and was intrigued enough to go on her web page and check her songs out. The short trials were enough to convince me to buy the album, and I am glad I did. These are mostly songs from a female perspective as expected, but are very well done. My favorites are "Love Song", "Bottle It Up", "Morningside" and "Fairytale", but all except for "Vegas" are good songs that stand up well on their own. For some reason I just can't relate to the song "Vegas" and would have been happier if it had been omitted from the album, but perhaps it is just me.
Sara has a very nice voice that fits well with the type of songs she does, and I believe we will hear alot more from her in the future.

I enjoy listenng to the artist and with the price of CD's in the stores these days, it was a great purchase.

She has a great voice and puts great rhythm together. I heard one of her songs "love song" and was hooked. She has a couple really good slow songs. "Love Song" is probably by far her best popular work.

This is an amazing CD!I had heard a few songs on the radio and Internet and decided to give the entire CD a chance. It was well worth it. The songs are amazing, both lyrically and vocally. A+!!!
