A Little Tenderness, Sarah Campbell
I knew of Sarah when I lived in Sonora, California in the 80's. When I was a camp Nurse near Santa Cruz in 1988 one of the counselors had some tapes of her music and shared it with me. I listened all summer to those tapes and especially loved the song about Geraldine and Ruthie May. I bought the CD because over the years I would think of her music and yearn to hear it. Great voice, great soul and I could listen to her everyday. I understand she lives near my home town of Austin, Texas and while I live in the Northwest now and love it, I do miss the great music of Austin. There are not that many women singers out there today that are worthy of being listened to and it's a treat knowing that she is there, thanks.
