I remember playing this as a little girl...and finding it extremely difficult. So I used to give up after an hour of only making it through the first two levels. Of course, I don't think it would've been any easier even if the hidden stuff was easier to get to. It definately wasn't designed for the right age group. But it was NES, and that was it's signature - difficult, endless games. Now that I'm older, I'll probably pick it up one day in hopes of making it through the first level without losing all my lives to little green fish.
