The Little Mermaid (DVD, 2006, 2-Disc Set)

I purchased this movie beliving that it was the 2006 edition. I ended up getting what looks like a color photo copy of the cover of the Little Mermaid, with a CD inside of the Little Mermaid with asian writtin on it. The seller never said this would be an old version of the movie. I made every attemp to contact the seller and question why he or she had taken a stock photo of the platnum limited edition of the 2006 release and advertised it as that and ended up selling me what looks like a poor, cheap, traslated eversion. I never got a response or my money back, now it looks like the seller is no longer selling on Ebay. I hate sellers like this that are into just taking peoples money.

This was the worst decision I made for purchasing an item since I have become a member of ebay. Growing up in Florida and spending most every summer vacation at Disney, I have always enjoyed Walt Disney's productions and this is still one of my favorties. I had the original movie and lost it when I moved so when the recently re-release video came out a few months ago I wanted to replace it, which I did and upon receiving it I was amazed and shocked to receive a Foreign version which was not in English nor looked anything like the picture or description of the item I had purchased, I am very disappointed with this item and how this situation was settled by all involved parties however at 34 years of age, I still highly recommend this video to women of all ages. I just recommend purchasing at a store so you can see what you are getting.

This is one of my favoite disney master pieces. My iece and I watch it all the time. This is a classic example of why disney is so great, while many of there more recent movies have been disipointing from an adults entertainment and artistic veiw, this and many other classic titles are just so beautifully done, You MUST see this film...

I was buying this dvd walt disney mermaid to add to my collection. I sent the money order at the end of march and have never recieved it, my money back or an apology. I left message after message to him, he never responded. Finally I left him a message on another item he had up for auction and he responded by saying he couldn't believe I was calling him a basically a thief. BAD DEAL

The movie is my favorite Disney movie! Flounder is the coolest fish. I love the part where Ariel says the girls up on land don't ret reprimanded by their fathers. The music, story, everything about this movie gets an A+.
