Yes, this is a Disney favorite. Yes, the songs rock. Yes, I wish I could live under the sea...
But I have to say, this movie really disappointed me because of the lessons that Ariel teaches young girls. The heroine reinforces the belief that it is acceptable to go against your parents and basically change who you are for a guy.
Come on...I know you live under the sea and all, but in this day and age how about a little backbone.
