Little House on the Prairie - Season 8 (DVD, 2005, 6-Disc Set)

little house on the prairie is my favorite show; i have been wanting to collect the whole series for quite sometime. it's a show that feels the heart and soul in every episode.

Our family is enjoying this season of Little House on the Prairie just as much as the others. It provides good, clean television time for our children and also teaches them some wholesome family values. It positively reinforces the importance of God, honesty, and integrity, among many other important aspects of living an honorable life. There is also focus on the importance of a good education and equal opportunity for all mankind. I have no negative comments about this product. I would recommend this item to all families, and especially for those with children.

As I have stated before, I love Little House on the Prairie because of the values that this particular show instills. I have been working on collecting all of this tv show on dvd and have finally succeeded. That is why I bought it. I already have my 4 year old hooked on it and I hope that one day she will share them with her children. If you have never seen Little House on the Prairie and you like good wholesome family shows, then I strongly urge you to watch and enjoy it by yourselves or with family or friends.

I love the entire series. It portrays what a real family should be like with a strong father figure. TV today portrays dads as unnecessary and usually foolish idiots. It has it all: humor, adventure, romance, I laugh, I cry, I'm hooked. I hope my family will turn out as strong as theirs.

I used to watch The little house on the prairie while growing up.And I remember always wishing I could own the entire collection.
When they started releasing the series on DVD I started collecting.
Im so glad I bought it.Now I can look at it whenever I want and fall inlove with the characters over and over again!

My children and I used to watch this when it was on television every week. My grand daughter now spends some weekends with me while her mom is working and we have a movie marathon afternoon and enjoy watching this series. thank you

it was a show that i see when i was a kid and i like it so i buy it for my kids and they love the show

I bougth this for my Grandmother because she loves the show. It is commercial free, and my Grandmother hates commercials! It is great family entertainment. Want to see how far prime time TV has sunk in 25 years, then buy just one series of Little House on the Prairie! It is truly shocking to see what trash we put in our brains these days. I just hope that in Heaven Laura Ingalls Wilder can see how well her DVDs are doing on ebay. Thank you Mrs. Wilder, with out you we would have nothing but a cesspool to watch!

Very well produced. all characters are so believable for the time era. AlL actors play there parts great they couldn't of picked a better cast. All the little house season are great would recommend the series highly .

This is the season to own.

You have Mr. olson that gets kidnapped because the robbers think that he has "gold". When trying to get ransom money for him the whole town ends up being kidnapped too.

Then there is the whole reason why I bought the season. The episode where James gets shot and everyone else thought that he was going to die, except for Charles. With his faith and devotion, James lived.

This is a really good season to own that is for sure.

This is a must for anyone who enjoys watching Little House on the Prarie. I am glad that I purchased season 8. I would love to have the entire collection. This is only one of the 10 seasons of the Little House on the Prarie. I am going to try to purchase others as well. This is a great show for the entire family to watch.

Great Family Show! Very clean, wonderful values and lessons are taught in each episode. I have the entire collection and m kids love them. Very dramatic at times and not always a happy ending which I believe to be a good thing, b/c in real life, there is not always a happy ending, but its how we respond to hard times that determines who we are.

Little House on the Prairie was a big part of my childhood. The one thing I liked was no matter what happened they always kept their faith in God and stuck together. You don't see much of that anymore. The transaction of the sale was quick and I received my dvd set within an appropriate time. Thank you seller. I appreciate it.

I like season 8, but when they added James, and Cassandra it gave it a different feel.My favorites are "Wave of the future", and "The legend of black jake" . Both of these are really funny in my mind.On the last episode, James gets shot!!!!! It is two parts,and the second part contains the healing of James. It also includes the birth of Rose Wilder!!!!!!
