This book has many diagrams & many tricks. The book covers the essentials including card handling, preperation & performing. With approx 170 trick with full detail, this book is not so little. The first section alone contains 80 tricks. I still haven't read them all, but I hope to in the furture~!
I am novice magician, and think this book would be great for all levels of magic, and could even be a good refresher for the pros.
I am nowhere near pro yet,

The Little Giant Encyclopedia of Card and Magic Tricks
) What I like about this text is that it contains instructions for many different magic tricks. It is an easy read and the directions are very clear. It also contains many illustrations that are easy to follow as well. The only thing that I would say that I dislike about it is that I can't find enough time in my schedule to really study it. With several jobs and a family it is a bit difficult to find ample time to study it like I desire. I purchased this book because of the excellent material it contains (mainly for beginner to intermediate magicians) and for the very reasonable price associated with it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who studies and/or enjoys magic.
