The Little Christmas Burro

Lorne Greene narrates this Christmas feature. Run time is about 25 minutes.
Too Small and too scrawny to do work like other work animals, a little young burro is turned out to live on his own. He runs into a caravan where he is befriended by a little mouse named Omar. He is turned away from the caravan, but later meets up with Omar again. They have some adventures together and eventually he is taken by a man to carry his load of goods. But he is sold and sold again because he thought incapable of doing enough work. Eventually, he is bought by someone to do a special job. He does it well.
The story is simple but nevertheless true. If you believe in something strongly enough and never give up, you may have a chance someday to fulfill your dream. He was finally given a fair chance to prove he could do the work, and he was successful.
This is an entertaining animated feature that is very appropriate for children in the family. The ending may be surprising, but the message is clear. Don't give up on your dream.
