6 (out of 10) - ...a rather ace little record....all concerned have put their art-rock tendencies on hold in favour of busk-compatible acoustic ditties. It's a bonus that [Jenny] Toomey's voice is a crystal clear whoop of wonder. But best of all, utterly against type, they've come up with some beezer pop tunes!...

...`Trump Suit' opens up the proceedings with one of those churning Toomey guitar lines...and slides into effective tempo changes, starts and stops. The next two tracks are even better...
