The Lion King (Sega Genesis, 1995)

This game follows the disney story progression really well. It does have some fun game play. Being thrown around by the monkeys was great! The game definitely has timing issues that come into play and make the game borderline ridiculous (anyone who has gone across the hippos' swinging tails knows what I am talking about). This version is a little better than the SNES version.

This is a cute addition to the Disney Lion King Dynasty. It has good graphics for the first generation Sony Playstation. You follow simba from a cub up to a young lion to try to challenge scar for leadership. It is a cute game but on very challenging.

This game is excellent. Not too challenging yet challenging enough to make it enjoyable. Matches with original story of the movie. Many levels and secrete paths!

Excellent Game!! I love the different levels and watching simba grow in the game! Very cool and very similar to the growth of simba in the movie as well!! GREAT GAME! VERY FUN!

I have to agree with everyone else's reviews this is a classic must have. I got a Sega Genesis about a month ago and had to get this classic childhood game HARDEST GAME EVER! BUT FUN AT THE SAME TIME. I recommend playing on Easy because once you get to level 8 it becomes basically impossible lol

I fell in love with this game when i first played it as a child. It holds true to Disney's gaming standards and is a true representation of the movie. The graphics are quite bright and crisp. Gameplay is fun and addictive. And the midi music score is also quite catchy. Definately should be owned if you have kids or loved the movie. I give this a 5/5! :)

This was one of my favorite Sega Genesis games growing up. The 9th level with the hyenas was SO hard! It took me forever to figure out which doors to go through. It was an awesome game and I still get on and play every once in a while for fun. Stayed pretty true to the movie, don't know where the ape monkey guy came from though?

This game is great just how I remembered it. I have never actually owned this gaem before but played it alot when I was younger and I wanted to own it for myself. Now since I have recieved it I just can't quit playing it. It just make me happy to relive my childhood again. I like playing this game so much that all the rest of my games take second place behind it. I really love this game.

This is a very good game, its fun but yet it is challenging. I find it a bit hard for younger kids but its defintely worth your time and money.

I bought this video game as a birthday present for my friend who had been looking for it after she realized her mom had gotten rid of her Lion King Sega game she had as a kid. She couldn't find it anywhere and of course, I figured I could get it on Ebay. She loved the present and is still talking about how much she loves it. Great sega game for kids , my 5 year can play this with no problem. This is such a cute game for all ages.
