Lion Brand Yarn Vintage Styles for Today by LION BRAND (2006, Paperback)

I am always looking for unique and interesting patterns to knit and crochet. I found this book and am thrilled with it. It takes vintage patterns from the entire century of the 1900's and remakes them for today. I enjoy this book thoroughly. I love the fact that it has crochet AND knitting patterns and they show the original photos and the new remade photos as well. Out of all of the knitting and crocheting books I have been looking through, this is one of my top favorites.

There are patterns for little quick items, scarves, baby items, hats for winter and fashion, and unique clothing items for men, women, and children as well. The patterns are well laid out, easy to follow so far, and the photos are motivational too. I really love this book. If you love style and unique fashions that don't look dowdy or home made, this book is worth a try. Also there are funky things in here too for the younger crowd who might want to knit or crochet but don't want something that looks like they bought it at a Christmas Bazaar.

There are also patterns for many different types of yarn which I love too.
