Since it didn't come with the driver disk, I've not been able to use it. It did arrive promptly and in good condition though.

I couldn't get it to work .I was using Linksys BEFXR41 Router I never have any broblem with it .now I am using belkin & its working fine .

I bought the router without any booklet or startup disc. I can't get the router initialized for more than one computer at a time, and the customer support at LinkSys has failed in 4 separate attempts to provide me with functional instructions. I'm sure it is a good unit, and it is not defective, but with the lack of adequate support it was a bad buy. Make sure to get the instructions and/or disc if you buy one.

If your not a real techie..this is for you..It is ver simple to hook up, only took about 10 minutes. Works great..This would be a great purchase if your looking for simplicity easy to use and set up.. not for the high end user.

If you need a good router for a small home office this is the one for you. It is reasonable inexpensive and easy to setup. I had tried to use D-LINK routers but my computers would not adapt to it. I installed the LINKSYS and it fired right up with both computers running full speed with no problems. I am using a COMCAST Broadband modem and have not complains at all about this unit. I give it 2 thrumbs up for easy of use and compatibility.

The unit was easily installed and set up; basically plug and play, Windows Vista will do everything for you. It did not accept the second computer on the first attempt, but that problem was easily resolved by rebooting router and computer. I am very pleased with this router's performance and ease of set up.

It was the item that I looking for, and was the Best Price. I bought the Item some weeks ago. My only complaint is that doesn't have catalog and I do not if that is working just the basic function.

Its an older model router from year 2000, its good for general purposes (Xbox/PC Routing, Port management) IT DOES NOT include a firewall. overall a good router.

I bought this router because my internet service provider only issues one ip per customer. I have 2 computers and 2 game consoles and i do a lot of online game hosting so i figured this router would be the idea hardware. I have no problems with it and had it for about 5 months now. Linksys customer support is very helpful and curtious. Always willing to help.

Router arrived promptly and properly packed. Have not used it yet but have not reason to assume it would not work. Nice doing business this way!

Served my purposes exactly like I wanted without having to download any software. I would recomend this router for anyone wanting the security of wired networking, and also for its simplicity and performance.

I needed to replace a broken router of the same kind and don't want to have to learn how to configure a diferent kind. The router works great and the configuration menus are easy to use through a regular browser.

When it comes to used items I research the retail costs and compare this price with an Ebay purchase. Then I review the seller's negative feedback, because this tells me what experiences others had. Next, I look at the seller's shipping costs and determine if they are fair. I check how and who the seller is shipping this item. I've had problems with FedEX Ground damaging shipped items and refusing to honor the insurance. I also look at the seller's return policy. In the final decision, I think about the purchase for a day to decide if I'm comfortable with this purchase. This method has helped me make very few disappointing purchases. Ebay can be a Great place to find valued items, you just need be careful.

Store said this was the best but turned out to be a pain to install.only lasted 15 minutes unit went dead.save your money and buy what best wireless is made for your computer.thanks palo

We bought this because a lot of us are in online college classes. We needed to be able to access the internet sometimes at the same time. I found this product to be unreliable about half the time. If I were you I would look into other brands.

The Linksys EtherFast® BEFSR41 Router would be a nice router except for one thing that pretty much renders it useless for my needs. It drops network connection to every PC connected to it about every 5 to 10 minutes. You won't notice this if your just surfing the web or reading email but if you do anything that requires a persistent connection lasting awhile, stay away from this router.
